The images showcased are but a small selection of work covering over 40 years. Some elements or photos became part of the vehicle for clients to highlight and sell their products or services. And for Printing companies to increase their print sales.
It should be impressed - that; "Design is a Job", but doing it correctly is the Art!
In my time in the Advertising Industry, I have been apart of some Great Work done with great results. My goal; to showcase some of my work that has been used creatively in advertising using design layout, illustration or photography. With over four decades in the Advertising and Printing Industry, I have seen and experienced the unparalleled advancements in the industry. Staying abreast with changing media, combined with hands-on knowledge, I provided clients with solid results.
Creating this website is / has been a form of therapy. In late July 2013, suffered an aneurysm, (which is a tear of an artery), of my Aorta near my heart. However, no corrective surgery was performed. Instead my condition is being treated with medications. Needless to say that I have been dealing with doctors and monitor my condition. In April of 2015 a new CT scan revealed that the tear has increased approximately a half inch. Aside from my physical concerns, I had been suffering with Anxiety and Clinical Depression for many years, but dealt with it as much as possible. When attempting to deal with normal everyday stresses and financial concerns.
During the past few years I've met many other survivors. Individuals that survived grave situations. Surviving is the first challenge, but harder challenges come later. A breed of vultures begins to circle, they seek the weak, easy prey. Some help and advice is legitimate, However, there are those, that offer help when an individual requires assistance or professional advice. However, many institutions look for, what’s in it for them. Many will demoralize and ridicule the individuals. Beating them down with their legal documentation. Often, convincing the weak, or downtrodden, that the paper holder, "Owns Their Soul". You can see these faces everywhere, because they’re broken. Made to believe they have no worth. In many cases they become invisible, Darkness drowns them. It covers them so completely that other people are unable to even see them. Like many others, I battle clinical depression and anxiety, along with the stigma everyday. Our fear; that we become another statistic.
